Topline Automotive LLC was established in 1988 by Bert Miller and Douglas Rimsky as Lucerne Automotive, a division of Lucerne Textiles, Inc. NY, NY. Lucerne Textiles is a privately owned company founded in 1921. In March of 1999 Topline Automotive, LLC was formed. Topline Automotive has offices at its Lawrence, MA manufacturing facility which consists of a rubber coating plant where we have two (2) state of the art knife over roll solvent coating lines designed to meet D.E.P. regulations and warehousing for finished goods. Topline also operates a full in stock warehouse in Los Angeles, CA. In 1988 after working with our technical group we developed and started production on simulated convertible top fabrics (Acrylic surface cloth) for the automotive aftermarket. In 1989 we received OEM approval from General Motors on this product. In 1989 work began on a fabric convertible top product (Acrylic surface cloth) for the aftermarket. On March 13, 1991 O.E.M. approval was granted for this product. Today, Topline is one of the largest convertible (Acrylic surface coated cloth) suppliers to the aftermarket. We are the OEM topping supplier for the Mitsubishi Spyder Eclipse and Toyota Camry Solara. We also supply specialty coated fabrics for OEM use. Topline is the second largest supplier to OEM of fabric convertible topping in the world today. Please
